“I cannot say enough about what an asset Mr. Giordano has been to our community,” said Supervisor Rich Schaffer. “Throughout his tenure, he has served as an excellent example not only teachers and administrators in the Lindenhurst School District, but too many in other school districts throughout our area. I know I speak for many when I say his guidance and leadership will be greatly missed.”
Councilman Anthony Manetta, a Lindenhurst high school graduate who was a student during Mr. Giordano’s tenure as assistant principal, presented the proclamation on behalf of the Town Board.
"The Town of Babylon wishes Mr. Giordano all the best in his retirement, and we thank him for his many years of service to the Lindenhurst community," a press release said.
