WEST BABYLON, NY — Residents will decide on the West Babylon School District budget on Tuesday.

The final proposed 2025-2026 budget is $136,150,120, a decrease of .0015 percent from last year's budget.

This year's tax levy stands at an increase of 2.06 percent—or $1,740,169—to $86,024,802.

West Babylon residents who have lived in the district for at least 30 days, who are U.S. citizens 18 years of age or older and who are currently and properly registered may vote.

West Babylon residents north of Sunrise Highway will vote at Santapogue Elementary School while residents south of Sunrise Highway will vote at the administration building.

Voting takes place from 6 to 9 p.m.
