West Babylon's 2025-26 School Budget Results Are In
See whether the West Babylon School District's budget passed this year.
WEST BABYLON, NY — Residents within the boundaries of the West Babylon School District on Tuesday voted to pass the 2025-26 school budget by a margin of 1,269 yes votes to 523 no votes.
The district's budget is $136,150,120, a decrease of .0015 percent from last year's. The tax levy is $86,024,802, up 2.06 percent.
There were three open seats for the West Babylon Board of Education. Katie Armato was elected with 1,278 votes, Christopher Paolillo was elected with 1,159 votes and Chirsten Johnson Tymann was elected with 955 cotes. Franklin Medina Jr. was elected for a one-year term with 887 votes.
