World's First 'Applebee's To Go' To Open In Deer Park

DEER PARK, NY — A new kind of convenience is coming to Deer Park.

Applebee’s franchisee, Doherty Enterprises, Inc., announced it will open a new Applebee’s To Go in Deer Park on Tuesday, Sept. 12 at 403 Commack Road. A special ribbon cutting ceremony will take place at 11 a.m.

The "first-of-its-kind concept" for the brand will provide quick and convenient service to guests on the go who crave the delicious meals only available at Applebee’s.

Like a fast-casual restaurant, the location will feature dine-in tables without table service and pickup lockers for carry-out orders.

How To Order

Deer Park and neighboring residents will also be able to place an order and pay via Applebees.com or the Applebee’s mobile app (iOS, Google) for quick service of great quality Applebee’s food at this location.

After patrons select the "To Go" option at checkout, they will be given an estimated pick-up time.

Once they arrive during their pick-up time, they will be able to grab their order from one of the innovative new pick-up locker systems that will service both guests and delivery drivers. The new pick-up lockers enable "quick, contactless", food order handoff with the click of a smartphone, a release said.

Latest Technology

The To Go-only location was also designed to maximize the speed of service for delivery through Applebees.com and partners such as Uber Eats, DoorDash, and GrubHub, a release said.

“Enjoying your favorite Applebee’s entrees and appetizers when you’re ‘on the go’ has never been easier,” said Kurt Pahlitzsch, VP of Operations at Doherty Enterprises. “We’re committed to finding new ways to meet the needs of our guests so they can enjoy the meals they love from Applebee’s in a convenient and efficient way.”

The location is also expected to offer various bar beverages including limited beer, wine, and liquor selections To Go, for guests 21 years of age and older (with an accepted form of photo ID) in the near future.

The Deer Park Applebee’s To Go Deer Park hours of operations are:

• Sunday – Thursday: 11:30 a.m. – Midnight
• Friday – Saturday: 11:30 a.m. – 1:00 a.m.
