5 Things: Brooklyn's Best Sledding and Bryan and the Ardvarks at Sycamore

How to enjoy Ditmas Park's first snowstorm of 2013.

1. Stay warm. As of last night, the National Weather Service was forecasting 7 to 13 inches of snow through 9 a.m. Saturday. Temperatures are expected to hover around 32-degrees, but winds of  22 to 28 mph, with gusts as high as 40 mph, will make it feel colder. There is a chance of some light snow today, with less than an inch of accumulation. See their latest forecast here

2. Be in the know. Garbage collection has been cancelled, as have all CUNY classes today. Subways and buses were running close to normal early this morning. Get the latest subway info here

5. Dig the car out. Want to know when your street will be plowed? Snow plows can now be tracked on NYC.gov with an application that updates every half hour. Bonus: if you manage to park at a meter, it's free. All meter rules are suspended today.
