5 Things: Pop/Singer/Songwriter at Sycamore and Community Acupuncture at Third Root

1. Get out of your musical rut. Head to Sycamore to hear The Broken Stares at 9 followed at 10 by Little King, a newly formed vocal/chamber ensemble that performs the music of Michael Sachs, a recent Masters’ graduate from New England Conservatory in Boston whose music has been called "jazz,” “classical,” and "pop-singer-songwriter."
2. Feel better. Today there's Community Acupuncture at Third Root from 3 to 8 p.m. The acupuncture treatment takes about 90 minutes, so make sure to get there by 6:30 p.m. Sliding scale $20 to $40. 380 Marlborough Road.

3. Feel better. If needles aren't your thing, how about yoga. Tonght there's Open Level Vinyasa Yoga at Namaste, 482 Coney Island Avenue at 7:15 p.m. $17.
4. Get the giggles. Head to The Rock Shop in Park Slope for Shotgunnin' It, a night of free comedy. Tim Duffy (Mid-Evenings with Jay Miller) and Lukas Kaiser (Senior Writer at Spike TV) present an evening of "free comedy and binge drinking."
