5 Things: Stargazing, Dancing, and Creative Writing for Kids
What you need to know pre-coffee.

1. Science Talk: Astronomy on Tap + Secret Show @ The Way Station. Because astronomy is always better with beer, astronomers reveal how they explore the universe at a bar near you! A series of short free public science talks ranging from black holes to planets by astronomers from Yale University, NYU, College of Staten Island and more. Afterwards there will be a chance to ask questions and talk one-on-one with the speakers.
2. Movement Lab. Gallim Dance Movement Lab offers a unique style of movement exploration that encourages imagination and athleticism through the spirit of play. Emphasis is placed on physical sensation and improvisatory exploration that simultaneously builds strength and flexibility, engages the mind/body connection, and encourages creative thought. Open to all experience levels.
