Boy Stabbed In The Chest By Another Child In Brooklyn Park: NYPD

BROOKLYN, NY — A 12-year-old boy was stabbed in the chest in a Brooklyn park on Thursday, police said.

The incident happened around 2:50 p.m. at the Betsy Head Park near Thomas S Boyland Street in Brownsville.

Officers found the boy with a stab wound to the chest. He was taken to Brookdale University Hospital in serious by stable condition.

The victim is believed to have been stabbed by another child.

A 9-year-old and 12-year-old boy are being questioned in connection with the incident, according to police and multiple reports.

It is not known at this time what led up to the stabbing. No arrests have been made yet.
