This year Ditmas Park CSA is partnering with Lewis Waite Farms, so there will be meats, yogurt, cheese, granola, in addition to vegetables.
A CSA is Community Supported Agriculture. We partner with a farm (in this case Amantai Farm, whose farmer Jorge also sells at the market on Sundays), and you purchase a share of produce in advance of the season. For about 20 weeks, you get a box of freshly picked organic produce--whatever is in season and Jorge has picked that day. There are also optional add-ons of eggs, jarred goods, and fruit.
