Compost for Brooklyn & Newkirk Cares Collaborative will be hosting monthly community workdays to care for street trees along Newkirk Avenue and volunteers are needed.
Volunteers will help build wooden tree guards along Newkirk Avenue.
Workdays will take place on April 15 & May 20, at 10 a.m.
