Vote for Where $1 Million Will Be Spent

The 45th City Council district is one of four districts in the city running a pilot program called Participatory Budgeting.

Between October 2011 and March 2012, community residents were invited to Neighborhood Assemblies where they decided how to spend at least $1 million of the Councilmember’s discretionary capital funds.

During the week of March 25 to April 1 residents of the 45th Council district will vote for the proposals that the residents have worked on.
