Midwood High Back In Session After Bomb Threat (UPDATES)
Police responded to a bomb threat at Brooklyn's Midwood High School late Tuesday morning.
FLATBUSH, BROOKLYN — Police responded to a bomb threat called into Midwood High School at Bedford Avenue and Glenwood Road around 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, according to the NYPD. Footage from the scene showed hundreds of evacuated students filling the school's yards and surrounding streets. After hours of searching the premises, police gave the "all clear" around 1 p.m., an NYPD spokesperson said.
"We deemed the location safe," the police spokesperson said. The origins of the threat are currently under investigation, he said.

Classes were back in session as of 2 p.m., according to an update from a Midwood High representative.
