Clarke Hosts Public Forum on DREAM Act
The Congresswoman will discuss the proposed legislation at 6 p.m.

Congresswoman Yvette Clarke, D-Ditmas Park, is hosting a public forum Monday, Aug. 20 to discuss the DREAM Act.
"From DREAM Act to Deferred Action," presented by Clarke and Andrea Quarantillo, N.Y.S. District Director, U.S. Citizenship and Immigrant Services, will discuss employment authorization and the DREAM Act's possible applicablity on attendees' lives.

The DREAM Act would provide conditional permanent residency to certain illegal individuals who graduate from U.S. high schools, arrived in the U.S. as minors and lived in the country continuously for at least five years prior to the bill's enactment.
