Community Board 14 Gears Up for Another Season
Ditmas Park's CB 14 will hold its first meeting Sept. 5

After a brief summer hiatus, Community Board 14 is back in the swing of things, and has meetings schedued throughout the month of September that interested residents can attend.
The Board will hold three meetings in September to discuss issues including transportation, revitalizing the junction area and health care concerns, according to CB 14's calendar.
On Wednesday, Sept. 5 at 7 p.m. the Board has scheduled three public hearings on permits to enlarge residences within the neighborhood.

On Monday, Sept. 10, at 7:15 p.m. at Edward R. Murrow High School at 1600 Avenue L, the Board will hold its regular monthly meeting. The agenda includes a special committee report on the revitalization of the junction area.
Finally, on Thursday, Sept. 13 at 7 p.m. at the CB 14 district office, the health services committee will meet with a Safe our Safey Net Campaign representative to discuss health care issues in central Brooklyn and the "health care safety net." Updates on the NYC Department for the Aging Programs and Services and a pre-budget consultation on the needs of Community District 14 will also be discussed.
