Cyberthreats Againts Kids to be Discussed During CB 14 Meeting Tonight

CB 14's Joint Educational, Lib. & Cultural Affairs and Public Safety Committee will discuss how to keep young people safe in cyberspace.


Community Board 14's Joint Educational, Libraries & Cultural Affairs and Public Safety Committee is meeting tonight at 7 p.m. at the Board's district office.

The committee will discuss internet safety, specifically how to keep young people safe in cyberspace.

"This is a really vital part of what's going on in the community today," said Member-at-Large Florence Valentino at the .

Anna Krutaya-Blantz, assistant district attorney from the King's County District Attorney's Office will attend to discuss the issue and what can be done to stop it.

Edwidge Menard from the Brooklyn Community Service Center, Commission on Human Rights, will also discuss the issue.

The committee will meet at CB 14's district office located at 810 East 16th Street and anyone is welcome to attend.
