The movie-maker and her crew have until the end of August to raise their set goal of $5,000 on the popular crowd-funding website, or else they receive no funds.
So far, 27 backers have pledged a combined $2,175 to the campaign. There are 11 days left to go.
The money contributed to the campaign will go toward production, including transportation for crew and cast, snacks and meals for the crew, camera rental gear, grip and electric rental gear, art direction and production design, costumes and makeup, media storage of footage, and audio equipment rentals.
It will also go toward post-production, including sound mixing, color correction, production of DVDs for festival submissions, and any ADR sessions.
"The production crew of Glance are hard working, talented crew of people who believe in the potential of this simple story about how hope can break loneliness by pure happenstance," the Kickstarter campaign's site says.
"Glance is a narrative that many people can relate to and it takes your generosity to get Glance towards a final cut and screening at festivals!"
