Flatbush Fire Tears Through Auto Shop; Firefighter Injured
The Euro Shop suffered "extensive" damage, FDNY said.

FLATBUSH, BROOKLYN — Firefighters rushed to the scene of a blaze inside of an auto shop in Flatbush on Wednesday afternoon.
The fire tore through The Euro Shop on Rogers Avenue near Cortelyou Road starting just before 4 p.m., an FDNY spokesman told Patch.
The fire was only in the first floor and did not spread to the other three floors above, the FDNY spokesman said. A firefighter suffered a minor injury in the blaze.

The damage to the auto shop "sounds like it was pretty extensive," the spokesman said.
