Free Flatbush Tour Lets You Explore the Studios of Leading Local Artists
The Flatbush Artists Studio Tour runs from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.

FLATBUSH, BROOKLYN — This weekend offers an uncommon (and free) chance to explore the studios and work of some of Flatbush's leading artists.
The Flatbush Artists Studio Tour runs from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 12, and Sunday, Nov. 13. A total of 26 artists are participating, and will be opening their spaces up and down Flatbush Avenue from Beverley Road to Newkirk Avenue. The event is a self-guided one, and there's no RSVP required.

This year's participating artists, listed online here, include photographers, painters, illustrators, typography specialists, artists working in ceramics, and those focused on many other mediums. Profiles of each artists, including photos of their work, are available on the Flatbush Artists website.
Ditmas Park Corner notes that the Studio Tour also offers a chance to meet and speak with participating artists themselves, as well as purchase their pieces.
