Last Day to Vote for $105K in Tech Upgrades to Ditmas Park Schools
It's one of various projects Ditmas Park and Flatbush residents can back this weekend as part of the city's participatory budgeting process.

DITMAS PARK, BROOKLYN — We’ve reached the end of 2016’s participatory budgeting vote week! Ditmas Park and Flatbush residents have until the evening of Sunday, April 3, to vote to direct city funds toward a variety of neighborhood projects.
The list of projects you’re eligible to vote for depends on your City Council representative . If you live in Ditmas Park or Flatbush, you’re probably represented by 40th District Councilman Mathieu Eugene. But if you’re not sure who your council member is, just use this online tool to figure it out.

- $135,000 to build a new dog run on an unused stretch of Prospect Park's Parade Grounds
And some of the projects particularly relevant to Flatbush include:
- $150,000 for gym improvements at the High School for Service Learning at Erasmus
- $35,000 for technology upgrades at P.S. 6
- $20,000 for real-time bus information at the Church Avenue B35 bus stop
You do not have to be a registered voter to participate, and anyone 14 and up can cast a ballot. Just bring your ID, a utility bill or some other form of documentation that states your address with you to the polls.
