Man Arraigned, Charged With Dismembering Flatbush Woman

He faces 25 years in prison.

FLATBUSH, BROOKLYN — A man who authorities say admitted to killing his wife and cutting her up with a saw was arraigned in Brooklyn Supreme Court and one count of second-degree murder, one count of second-degree manslaughter and one count of concealment of a human corpse.

The family of Diana Rodriguez got worried when that hadn't heard from her in nearly a month and went to the home of Philip Martin, who told the family she had left him a month earlier, prosecutors said.

Martins lives on Linden Boulevard, on the border of Flatbush and Prospect-Lefferts Gardens.
