Men Rob People Of Their Yeezys In Flatbush After Meeting Up Via Facebook

FLATBUSH, BROOKLYN — Authorities are searching for two men who they say are using Facebook to meet up with people in Flatbush, then robbing them of their Yeezy shoes, usually at gunpoint.

From late April through mid July, police have identified six instances of the men doing this across the Flatbush-area.

All told, according to police, the men have made of with six pairs of the signature footwear from Kanye West, another pair of unidentified Adidas shoes, an iPhone, an Apple Watch and $229 in cash.

Two of the robberies happened at the Burger King on Church and Nostrand avenues, police said. Another time, one of the men met someone inside the Newkirk Avenue 5 subway station and punched him in the face before fleeing with two pairs of Yeezys, police said.
