Morning Tip: P.S. 217 to Host Garden Workshop, Concert Today

Susannah Laskaris is hosting a garden workshop at 3 p.m. today in P.S. 217's school garden.

"All children are welcome to join with their parents in more planting and exploring," the release said.

A concert will follow the workshop as part of the school's spring concert series.

The concert will feature P.S. 217's own Andre Lubart, Jonathan Leal, Charles Mister and Don Martin, playing mix of rock-and-roll starting at 6 p.m.

The P.S. 217 Garden Committee has also put out a call for assistance in future programs. Those interested in organizing, raising funds, writing grants, or helping in the garden, please contact Beth at bethsworld@gmail.com.
