Morning Tip: Prospect Park Camping Registration Open
Families can spend one night hiking, sleeping in provided tents and engaging in activities planned by Urban Park Rangers.

If in sounds like fun, make sure to register Wednesday for one of the 30 slots available for the Aug. 25 camping adventure from 6 p.m.-8 a.m.
Families are given the opportunity to spend one night in the park hiking, sleeping in provided tents, and engaging in other activities planned by Urban Park Rangers.
In order to guarantee everyone an equal chance of attending the program, a lottery for program was developed for registration. Registration closes at 11:59 p.m. Wednesday and soon after, a list of attendees is randomly generated by computer. Those selected will receive a phone call and confirmation number within a few days of the lotter.

A waiting list will also be randomly generated by computer. If space becomes available due to a cancellation, the next eligible group on the waiting list will be selected and notified. Those on the waiting list will not be selected.
All campouts are rain or shine. Programs that are cancelled for any reason will not be rescheduled. Click here to learn more about the program.
