Morning Tip: Summer Workshop at Brooklyn Botanic Garden

The is holding summer workshops every Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. in its Discovery Garden to educate children (and grown-ups, too!) on all there is to know about New York City garden plants and animals.

Students will learn about such plants and animals through hands-on exploration, story time, and garden hunts.

Each week, young urban gardeners will explore a different nature theme and then create their own windowsill planting or nature craft to green up their home or neighborhood.

Workshops are canceled in rain or temperatures of 95 degrees or higher. Visit the garden's website for more information.
