Photo of the Day: Cooling Off

Ditmas Parkers took matters into their own hands Tuesday afternoon and opened a fire hydrant for a brief yet sweet reprieve from the high temperatures.

Passersby joined in on the fun, with some dipping their heads into the water, while others charged full steam ahead to escape the scorcher.
