Police: 2 Brooklyn Men Found With 40 Pounds of Marijuana
Police say they viewed suspicious activity, pulled over Adham Deeb and Majdi Mansoor, and found two suitcases with 20 pounds of pot in each.

Police made a 40-pound pot bust and arrested two men in Brooklyn late Wednesday morning.
Adham Deeb and Majdi Mansoor, of Brooklyn, were each charged with criminal possession of marijuana, according to a NYPD news release. Deeb was also charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance.
Police patrolling the Bay Ridge area of Brooklyn observed the two men park their vehicles, get out and exchange suitcases, then leave the scene, the release states.

Officers stopped the two cars and detected ”a strong odor of marijuana emanating from the vehicles,” according to the release.
As officers questioned the two drivers, one admitted that there was marijuana in the suitcase, the release states. Officers searched the two suitcases and found around 20 pounds of marijuana in each bag, and placed the two men under arrest.

According to police, the officers also found cocaine in the center console of one of the vehicles and one of the men admitted to there being more marijuana at an apartment with a stated address.
Officers obtained a search warrant for the location and discovered an additional 11 pounds of marijuana, two mason jars of marijuana, two scales, and a notebook containing financial transactions.
