MISSING: Flatbush Resident Whilamena Abernathy

Whilamena Abernathy, 64, has been missing for nearly a week now, police say.

FLATBUSH, BROOKLYN — Police are asking the public to help locate a Flatbush woman (pictured above) last seen at her apartment building on April 21.

Whilamena Abernathy, 64, was spotted Thursday afternoon wearing black pants, a black jacket and a black hat at 720 E. 32nd St., police said. She was reported missing three days later, on Sunday, April 24 — and hasn't been seen since, according to the NYPD.

Abernathy is around 5-feet-3-inches tall and weighs approximately 135 pounds, police said Tuesday.

Anyone with information on Abernathy's whereabouts can confidentially report it via the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers website or anonymously call the Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).
