The New York City Police Department announced street closures and anticipated traffic delays for this weekend. If you plan on driving to the neighboring boroughs or have to drive through them to get away for the weekend, expect delays in the following areas:

- Lafayette Street between Reade Street/Centre Street and Fourth Avenue
- Fourth Avenue between Lafayette Street and East 15th Street
- Union Square East between East 15th Street and East 17th Street
- Park Avenue South between East 17th Street and East 32nd Street
- Park Avenue between East 32nd Street and East 72nd Street (including the viaduct between East 40th Street and East 46th Street)
- 72nd Street between Park Avenue and 5th Avenue
Rest Stops:
- Centre Street between Duane Street and Worth Street
- Cleveland Place between Kenmare Street and Spring Street
- Kenmare Street between Lafayette Street and Cleveland Place
- Astor Place between Broadway and 4th Avenue
- East 24th Street between Madison Avenue and Lexington Avenue

- 46th Street between Queens Boulevard and Greenpoint Avenue closed
Hackensack Medical Center Charity Motorcycle Ride
Starting at approximately 10 a.m.
Start @ N.Y. side of George Washington Bridge

East on Cross Bronx Expy to exit 2 Harlem River Drive/FDR Drive; S on Harlem River Drive into/becomes FDR Drive; S on FDR Drive thru Battery Park Underpass to n/b West Street; N on West Street into/becomes 12th Avenue; N on 12th Avenue to n/b Henry Hudson Pkwy; N on Henry Hudson Pkwy to exit 14, George Washington Bridge; N on ramp to NJ bound GWB.
Highway Escort MOS will not depart City Limits while PAPD assumes escort responsibility at the GWB approach.
