Sustainable Flatbush Community Compost Drop-off Today

Bring compostable food waste to the Flatbush Reformed Church Community Garden Saturday, May 12, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. 

The compost site is located behind the church on East 21 Street between Kenmore Terrace and Church Avenue. 

Items that can be composted include fruit and vegetable scraps, coffee grounds, tea bags, grass clippings, flower bouquets, wood chips and sawdust.
