Video Shows Brooklyn Woman Going Postal on Mailman

DYKER HEIGHTS, BROOKLYN — A woman from Dyker Heights apparently went postal on a mail carrier after he tried to recover a mistakenly delivered package, according to video footage posted by CBS2.

The footage shows a female resident hitting the mailman with the package and forcefully kicking him, causing him to stumble backward. Her pitbull is also seen running at the mailman, attacking his owner’s leg in the process.

The mailman told CBS2 that he accidentally left the package at the woman’s building and tried to recover it.

When she refused, he said, he rang the doorbell repeatedly — then came under attack.

The woman’s story is that she used her dog for protection because the mailman came “all the way inside her house,” although the video footage does not show him doing so.
