Participatory budgeting starts Saturday. Here are projects in Ditmas Park, Flatbush and surrounding neighborhoods you can vote on.

DITMAS PARK, BROOKLYN — Participatory budgeting season starts Saturday, when neighborhood residents can vote on which projects they'd like to see their tax dollars go toward.
Several projects are available in Brooklyn’s 40th District, which includes Ditmas Park, the Western part of Flatbush and surrounding neighborhoods and is represented by Councilman Mathieu Eugene. (See a full district map here.)
(And, if you live on the Eastern part of Flatbush, click here to see the projects you'll be able to vote on.)

Residents over the age of 14 will vote on five projects, which will be funded up to $1 million. A full list of the projects can be seen on the flyer below, which also has information about when and where to vote.
A representative for Eugene, though, tell us that the Sunday and Monday sites at the Parkside subway station and Newkirk Plaza have been "put on hold."
