Watch: Taxi Driver Refuses to Take Hannibal Buress to Brooklyn
Due to a "fear of bridges."

MANHATTAN, NY — A New York City taxi driver said he was not capable of driving Hannibal Buress from Manhattan to Brooklyn on Monday, according to the ”Broad City” comedian, due to an insurmountable ”fear of bridges and highways.”
Much of Buress’ in-cab video proof, posted to Twitter (and embedded below), is inaudible, so it’s hard to tell what exactly was going through this guy’s head.
The highlight of the exchange, though, is fortunately clear as day.
”You don’t drive on bridges in New York, and the highway also? But you drive a taxi in New York?” Buress asks. “It‘s the wrong job for you.“
“Yeah, that’s true,” the taxi driver replies thoughtfully.
We are all Hannibal Buress today. But we’re also kind of all this taxi driver, when you really stop and think.
