Ditmas Park has been waiting for the all-day brunch spot to open since Cafe Madeline’s owners announced in February 2015 that they would develop a new eatery across the street.
Owners told BKLYNER that the restaurant would offer a wide array of food and drink that included beer, wine, coffee, cheese and naan tacos.

While the menu has not yet been posted on the restaurant’s website, Yellowbelly owners have teased several dishes on social media
Instagram photos show plates of oysters, Greek yogurt-whipped ricotta with rose honey, red snapper ceviche, mushroom ginger broth, flatbread with chicken schnitzel and avocado, and large bowls of fries.
The restaurant will also serve up an eclectic pancake menu with flavors including buckwheat cardamom, buttermilk quinoa and strawberry ricotta, according to the website SquareUp.
There will also be twenty tap lines for beer and wine, according to the restaurant website.
“Our mission is to provide fresh, clean, ethically sourced, and delicious food in a casual and relaxed setting,” owners wrote on the Yellowbelly website.
A clipped photo of the menu shows they plan to offer “all day brunch | every day.”
The restaurant was first slated to open on Nov. 20 but was stalled because of “plumbing issues,” owners said on Instagram.
Yellowbelly will be open from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., according to SquareUp.com.
The restaurant owners did not immediately respond to request for comment.
