9/11 Victim Identified Nearly 16 Years After Attack, Report Says
The city's medical examiner's office has identified another victim of the 9/11 attacks, according to a report.

FINANCIAL DISTRICT, NY — Another victim of the 9/11 terrorist attacks has been identified by the city's medical examiner office, NBC 4 New York reported.
The man was identified through DNA testing, according to NBC 4 New York. His name was not immediately released but authorities said he is the 1,641 victim to be confirmed since the 2001 attacks
He is the first to be identified since March 2015, when the medical examiner used DNA samples to to name Matthew David Yarnell. Yarnell was a 26-year-old from Jersey City.

This latest identification still leaves 1,112 people who haven't been positively identified by authorities. In total, 2,753 people were killed in the 9/11 attacks in lower Manhattan.
