Boat Fire Breaks Out In New York Harbor, FDNY Says
Firefighters are battling a blaze on a boat in the New York Harbor on Friday morning, officials said.

WALL STREET, NY — All passengers have been evacuated from a boat in the New York Harbor on Friday morning after a blaze broke out in the boat's engine room, fire officials said.
Firefighters had knocked down the main body of the fire as of 12:14 p.m., an FDNY spokesman told Patch. Passengers on the boat have been evacuated and are being transported to Pier 11 in Manhattan, the spokesman said. Authorities first responded to the fire at about 11:30 a.m.
No injuries were immediately identified but emergency responders are still evaluating the scene, according to the FDNY.

It was not immediately clear what type of boat had caught fire or how the blaze started. An FDNY spokesman said it was unknown what kind of boat the passengers were on.
