Box Truck Slams Into World Trade Center Bollard
The driver suffered a leg injury and was rushed to a nearby hospital.
FINANCIAL DISTRICT, NY — A box truck slammed into a protective pillar near the Sept. 11 memorial Tuesday morning, authorities said.
A van collided into the truck at about 9:40 a.m. at the corner of West and Liberty streets in the Financial District and sent it careening into a bollard near the World Trade Center, according to the Port Authority.
