Cab Driver Gropes Woman While She's Sleeping in His Cab

A cab driver from Queens was arrested for molesting his passenger, a 31-year-old woman, when she fell asleep in the back of his green cab Sunday, officials said.

Michael Mina, 29, was arrested after the woman told police she woke up and he was grabbing her privates at around 9 p.m. The cab ride was approximately four miles from Broadway in Williamsburg to Allen St. on the Lower East Side.

"I'm sorry," he said, when she woke up and found him groping her, the New York Daily News reported. "Don't worry - you don't have to pay."

The woman photographed the medallion number of the cab and fled. Mina was arrested after the woman picked him out of a lineup.

On Wednesday, Mina's arraignment was pending.
