Cops Arrest Man For Sexually Assaulting 6-Year-Old Girl in Chinatown
The cops put out a video of the attacker, and a day later, a woman notified police that she spotted him.
Police arrested a man Monday for allegedly rubbing his private parts on a 6-year-old girl's face in Chinatown. Officers released a video of the attack on Sunday, and a woman spotted the man she saw in the video, prompting police to arrest him.
Officers arrested Christian Pena, 17, after the woman spotted him on a 2 train platform at 149th Street and Third Avenue. On Sunday, the NYPD released a statement saying they were seeking the public's assistance in finding him. The statement said it had been reported to police that on Saturday at 8 p.m. he had approached the 6-year-old girl inside an apartment building on Henry Street in the first-floor stairwell. "The individual proceeded to expose his penis and rub it on the victim's face," the statement said.
Pena has nine arrests on his record, and most of the cases are sealed, the New York Daily News reported.

He was charged with sexual abuse, a criminal sex act and child endangerment.
