Man Confesses To Grisly Murder After Walking Into 1st Pct: NYPD

An upstate man walked into Tribeca's 1st Precinct and confessed to chopping up a woman in Bushwick four years ago, police said.

TRIBECA, NY — An upstate New York man walked into Tribeca's 1st Precinct Tuesday and confessed to killing and dismembering a woman in Bushwick four years ago, police said.

Beacon resident Ricky Gonzlez, 34, told officers he stabbed and dismembered Maria Quinones insider her Brooklyn home at 226 Wilson Avenue in 2014. The 58-year-old woman's body has yet to be found and the investigation remains ongoing, authorities said.

Gonzalez was hit with charges of murder and concealment of a human corpse Wednesday night, police said.
