Subway Robbers Pin Man To The Ground To Steal His Phone: Police
A man was thrown to the ground and punched in the Fulton Street subway station while robbers searched for his phone, police said.

DOWNTOWN MANHATTAN, NY — A trio of subway robbers pinned a 26-year-old man to the ground on Saturday, punching him and rifling through his pockets to steal his phone, police said.
Just one of the robbers has been arrested, according to the NYPD.
The victim, a 26-year-old man, was on the Fulton Street subway platform on Saturday at about 2:40 p.m. when one man threw him to the ground, according to police. Two other men ran up to punch the 26-year-old repeatedly while searching his pockets, authorities said.

The robbers ran off with the 26-year-old's cell phone before the victim ran after the man who pinned him down, police said.
Officers arrested Arrick Way, 22, and charged him with robbery. The other two men have not yet been arrested.

The attack left the 26-year-old with broken glasses and swelling and pain throughout his body, according to the Manhattan prosecutor's office.
Way's attorney did not immediately respond to an email from Patch seeking comment on Friday morning. His bail was set at bail at $30,000 cash or bond.
