Thief Steals Guest's Suitcase From Ritzy SoHo Hotel
The burglar fled the former Trump SoHo hotel with luggage containing cash and valuables, police said.
NEW YORK, NY — Police are searching for a man who lifted a suitcase from a room at a ritzy SoHo hotel about two weeks ago. The burglar used a key card to get into a guest's room at the Dominick Hotel — formerly the Trump SoHo — around 12:21 p.m. on May 13 at , the NYPD said.
The man grabbed the 46-year-old guest's luggage containing a cellphone, tablet, jewelry, clothing and $500 in cash, then fled the Spring Street hotel on foot, police said. No one else was in the room at the time.
Surveillance video shows the man rolling the dark-colored wheeled suitcase into an elevator.

The thief is described as a white man last seen wearing a black jacket, light blue jeans, black shoes and a black backpack, police said.
