Tribeca Bank Robbed Of $500

A TD Bank in Tribeca was robbed on Friday after a man passed a note to a teller demanding cash, police said.

TRIBECA, NY — A Tribeca bank was robbed of $500 on Friday, police said.

A robber, who remains on the loose, walked into the TD Bank located at 254 Canal St. on Friday about 3:30 p.m., according to the NYPD. The man allegedly passed a note to a teller demanding money and left the bank with $500 in cash.

No one was injured during the robbery, police said.

Authorities described the man as about 45 years old. He was last seen wearing a black baseball hat with the letter "R" on it, according to surveillance photos.
