Wall Street Run And Heart Walk: What You Need To Know

Here's everything you need to know about the American Heart Association's

TRIBECA, NY — The annual American Heart Association run and walk is coming to Downtown Manhattan on Thursday, and will bring with it thousands of walkers and runners who are raising money for the organization.

Here's everything you need to know for race day.

When: Thursday, May 17. The race begins at 6:45 p.m.

Where: The race ends at Brookfield Place, 230 Vesey St., which is always where the organization will host its awards ceremony and festival.

How long is the race? The race is 3 miles long, and participants can either walk or run it.

What is the race route? Here's a map of the race route, courtesy of the American Heart Association.

What roads will be closed? The entire race course (see above) will be closed to car traffic, in addition to the formation of the race, on Greenwich Street between Warren and Barclay Street, Murray Street between West Street and Broadway, and Barclay Street between West and Greenwich streets.

Is it too late to register? Yes, registration for the race closed on May 3, but you can still donate here.
