WeWork Is Adding A Fancy New Gym To One Of Its Downtown Offices
The trendy co-working space is expanding into gyms.

DOWNTOWN MANHATTAN, NY — The trendy and now ubiquitous co-working company WeWork is adding a fully-equipped gym to one of its Manhattan offices, bring yet another perk to the already benefits-focussed space.
The WeWork at 85 Broad Street in the Financial District is rolling out its new "holistic wellness space," a gym and sauna with enough amenities and classes to rival many full-time gyms. The wellness studio has three workout rooms: one for running, rowing and other training, one for kickboxing and mixed martial arts, and one for yoga and meditation. On top of that, the gym-inside-an-office has a spa with massages and aromatherapy plus a cafe with fresh juice.

The introductory rate for WeWork's amenities-focused gym is $180 a month for unlimited studio classes.

The co-working monolith started in New York in 2010, and has since expanded around the world, in addition to scooping up office space at more than 44 buildings in New York City alone. In addition to venturing into the world of exercise, WeWork has also tested out co-living apartments, where a private Manhattan studio starts at $3,050 a month.
