"Climate change is real and it shouldn’t be denied," Fallon told a New York Post reporter as she was walked to a police car shortly after her arrest. "Please stop denying climate change. Draw the blue line."
Fallon was charged with making graffiti and criminal mischief, both misdemeanors, police said. Patch was not immediately able to contact Fallon's attorney on Monday. Fallon's action was blasted by Mayor Bill de Blasio's spokesman Eric Phillips on Twitter.

A Twitter account that appeared to be connected with Fallon's crusade shot back, insisting that the blue liquid was "Nothing compared to the havoc that salt water will cause when the Atlantic floods FIDI."
