Woman Hit On The Head By Train At Fulton Street, Police Say
A woman was hit on the head by a subway train while she was looking the wrong way down the track, police said.

DOWNTOWN MANHATTAN, NY — A woman was "tapped" on the head by a subway train on Tuesday as she was looking the wrong way down the track, police said.
The woman, who was not seriously injured, was at the Fulton Street subway station at 12 p.m. on Tuesday when she leaned over the tracks to look for the next train, an NYPD spokesman said. The woman was looking the wrong direction down the tracks and was "tapped" on the head by an incoming 3 train as it pulled into the station, police said.
Police did not immediately have details about the woman's injuries, but said she is not believed to be seriously injured.

The incident briefly affected service along the 2 and 3 lines but the Metropolitan Transportation Authority says service has since resumed.
