$32K Prize-Winning Lottery Ticket Sold At Islip 7-Eleven

ISLIP, NY – A prize-winning Powerball ticket worth $32,341 was sold in East Islip, the New York Lottery announced on July 9.

The lucky winner purchased the winning TAKE 5 ticket at 7-Eleven on Montauk Highway in East Islip, according to the lottery.

The win came from the July 8 TAKE 5 evening drawing. So far, no news on who the lucky winner is.

TAKE 5 numbers are drawn from a field of one through 39. The drawing is televised twice daily at 2:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m.

The New York Lottery generated $3.7 billion in total sales during the fiscal year 2022-2023, with $600 million funding Long Island schools.
