2 Teens Arrested, Charged With Vandalizing Dowling Campus: Police
The two face burglary and making graffiti charges, police say.

OAKDALE, NY — Two teenagers were arrested and charged with burglary after they spray-painted a building in the former Dowling College campus on Wednesday, Suffolk County police said.
At about 4:25 p.m., Fifth Precinct Patrol officers responded to a 911 call about youths vandalizing a building with spray paint on the campus, located at 150 Idle Hour Blvd. in Oakdale.
The suspects — two 14-year-old males — had left the scene prior to police arrival, and were found a short distance from the campus and placed under arrest, police said.

Officers also recovered a backpack containing spray paint, and a proceed from the burglary.
The teenagers were charged with third-degree burglary and making graffiti as juvenile delinquents, police said. Both were released to a parent and issued a Family Court Appearance Ticket.
