Possible Coronavirus Exposure At 2 LI Restaurants: Officials
Suffolk health officials said anyone who dined at two Oakdale restaurants recently may have been exposed to the coronavirus.
OAKDALE, NY — The Suffolk County Department of Health Services this week warned anyone who visited two Oakdale restaurants recently may have been exposed to the coronavirus.
Officials said anyone who visited Mannino’s Restaurant at 1575 Montauk Highway between Oct. 29 and Nov. 4 and The Village Idiot Irish Pub at 1487 Montauk Highway between Oct. 31 and Nov. 2 may have been exposed to COVID-19.
Those people should monitor for symptoms for 14 days after visiting the restaurant, officials said.

Mannino's said in a Nov. 6 Facebook post it was closing down for four days for cleaning due to the exposure.
"We take safety seriously for the good of our guests and staff alike," the post read.

On Tuesday, the restaurant announced in another post it was temporarily closed for construction.
"We will keep you posted on when we will re-open," the post read. "Once again, we are very sorry for the sudden notice and inconvenience."
Suffolk County health officials encouraged diners who may have been exposed to get tested for COVID-19. Symptoms of the virus include fever, cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fatigue, muscle or body aches, headache, loss of taste or smell, sore throat, congestion or runny nose, nausea or vomiting and diarrhea.
