Person Hit By Train At Union Square: MTA
The person was hit by a train in the downtown Manhattan hub about 11 a.m., according to the MTA.
EAST VILLAGE, NY —A person was struck by a train at the 14th Street-Union Square station late Wednesday morning, according to the MTA.
It appears the person was struck on the N/Q track about 11 a.m., when the MTA alerted straphangers that both express trains would run locally.
Police told Patch that the person jumped in front of the train, but is expected to survive.

Riders should expect delays on the N, Q, R, and W trains as EMS assist the person who was hit, the MTA said.
N and Q trains ran on the local track in both directions between Canal Street and 34th Street-Herald Square, the MTA said.
